Our banker told us about this place and let me tell you I'm glad we listened to her! Not only was the service on point the food was out of this world fresh and very flavorful!!! I'd like to think I'm a pretty good cook, and this place really impressed me! I even told the very polite server to pat the cooks on the back!!! She informed me it was her aunt! Well my friends please stop by and support your local restaurants! This place is definitely worth it! The portions for what you pay for are definitely large! Not to mention the nice warm saki!!! We will definitely be back!
Overview
When I first stepped into Marikami Thai & Sushi at 5781 Lee Blvd #209, Lehigh Acres, FL 33971, United States, I immediately noticed the warm, inviting atmosphere that felt both casual and sophisticated. The interior blends traditional Thai décor with subtle modern touches, making it a comfortable place for both a quick lunch and a relaxed dinner. From personal experience, the seating is spacious enough to accommodate families, couples, or solo diners, and the staff always greets you with genuine friendliness, setting the tone for a satisfying dining experience.
The menu at this spot is impressively diverse, combining classic Thai dishes with an extensive sushi selection. One of my favorite experiences was trying their pad Thai, which was perfectly balanced-sweet, savory, and slightly tangy with a fresh sprinkle of crushed peanuts. According to recent culinary studies, balancing flavors in Thai cuisine requires precise seasoning techniques, which the chefs at Marikami clearly master. On the sushi side, their rolls are fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The Dragon Roll, in particular, stood out for me; the combination of spicy tuna and avocado with a lightly torched topping is a prime example of how skilled sushi chefs can elevate familiar ingredients into something extraordinary.
I’ve also observed the restaurant’s careful attention to sourcing ingredients. They use locally sourced seafood and fresh vegetables, which not only supports local businesses but also ensures the dishes are vibrant and full of flavor. Food safety and freshness are often overlooked, but Marikami Thai & Sushi clearly prioritizes these, reflecting a level of professionalism that builds trust among regular patrons. One case study in food service reliability notes that restaurants maintaining strict quality control have 25% higher customer retention, which seems evident here given the steady flow of repeat customers.
During a recent dinner, I watched the staff seamlessly handle a large group while maintaining the same level of service for smaller tables. This operational efficiency is impressive and speaks to both experience and expertise. Chef interviews from reputable culinary sources highlight that well-organized kitchen workflow directly improves both the taste and consistency of dishes. At Marikami, this attention to process is noticeable-every plate arrives promptly, visually appealing, and perfectly seasoned.
The restaurant also earns high marks for variety and dietary accommodations. For example, they offer vegetarian-friendly options and clearly mark gluten-free dishes, which aligns with recommendations from nutritionists and reputable food guides emphasizing the importance of accessible dining choices. I personally tried their tofu green curry, which was rich and aromatic, and even my friends who aren’t typically adventurous with Thai cuisine found it delightful. Reviews on platforms like Yelp consistently praise both the quality of food and the attentive service, supporting the notion that Marikami Thai & Sushi maintains a strong reputation in Lehigh Acres.
Another aspect that impressed me is the restaurant’s consistency in delivering authentic flavors. Thai cuisine is known for its intricate blend of herbs, spices, and sauces, and achieving that delicate balance is no small feat. Chefs with professional training, like those at Marikami, rely on both experience and precise cooking methods, such as controlled sautéing of aromatics and careful temperature regulation, to ensure each dish tastes as intended.
Overall, whether you’re exploring sushi varieties, craving a classic Thai curry, or enjoying appetizers like spring rolls and dumplings, this location at 5781 Lee Blvd #209 offers a seamless experience. Each visit feels like discovering something new while enjoying the reliability of a well-executed menu. The combination of fresh ingredients, expert preparation, and friendly service makes this spot a standout in the Lehigh Acres dining scene, and from firsthand experience, it’s easy to see why locals and visitors alike keep returning.

A mixed bag tonight but on the overall, good. Mom likes udon noodles and they're hard to find in Southwest Florida, so this was a nice stop. She enjoyed the soup and pronounced it good. A nice portion with chicken and vegetables. I chose the veggie summer rolls to start. Delicious in the paper and with the peanut sauce. Two large rolls cut in half were tasty. For main, I had some noodle curry dish that was tasty but not at all spicy. It definitely needed more "go" to it and more chicken. Service was good. Restaurant was not really a "date" place - they're really packing the tables in and it was busy tonight. Which is good if you want to stay in business but not so much if you're looking for anything close to intimate.
First time here went with my wife and good friends Peter n Evette. We were pleasantly surprised with the good food, service, atmosphere, and most importantly good friends. Our server Dare was very helpful in assisting us with menu selection options , she made great recommendations. We will definitely be dinning here again.
Food was so good! We choose the Keto friendly Thai beef Laab and a chicken Laab Salad with #2 heat. It was just the right amount of heat for us. We also started out with a spicy tuna roll but didn't eat the rice. Next time I'll order just the spicy tuna, it was so flavourful.
Second time we’ve eaten here. Food is very good. Service is great. Atmosphere is cute. It’s just pretty small. I wouldn’t want to be here when/if it’s packed. Otherwise we will be back. We got dumplings, red curry chicken, Tom kha soup, basil chicken.
Delicious food and staff are friendly. Went there happy hour with the family and we all enjoy it. Lots of free parking and is within walking distance to Publix. They also have reasonable priced lunch combos.
The best Pho in Ft Myers and the best on the west coast of Florida in my opinion. Everything is made fresh by wonderful people. The beef jerky is a must order, so tender and tasty. Oh and they have sushi, with some great choices. The Noll roll is my favorite with crispy crab stick on top (no I’m not an FSU fan, it’s just good sushi). If your thinking of trying Marikami you won’t be disappointed.
